Sometimes yes, sometimes no—it depends on your risk and the cost of mistakes. If it’s your first order with a new supplier, or if you’re worried about wrong specs/labels, PSI can be cheap insurance; if it’s a very small order and you can accept minor risk, you might skip PSI and focus on tight specs + clear photos + batch traceability instead.
